OUR LEADERSHIP TEAM

The Liaison family includes hundreds of creative

professionals led by a few brave souls.

@work
Dave is the visionary and tireless leader of Liaison, a company that grew out of his passion for serving others. He recognized the need and had the drive to connect the dots between creative talent and the companies that need it.
Dave graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio with a computer science degree and spent the early part of his career working in prepress and digital imaging before founding Liaison in 1991. Over the years, he has served on the Board of Directors for several volunteer organizations including the local chapters of the Austin Advertising Federation and the Printing and Imaging Association of Mid-America, the Kathy Dunn Hamrick Dance Company, the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce, and E4 Youth. Dave was voted “Ad Man of the Year” by the Austin Advertising Federation and presented with their Silver Service Award. He was given the “Volunteer of the Year Award” by the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce and selected as “Citizen of the Year” and “Westlake Hero” by the Westlake Chamber of Commerce.
@life
Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, Dave is an amateur woodworker specializing in cabinetry and woodturning. He enjoys traveling the world with his wife Susan and their two sons.

Amy is the financial brain of Liaison, responsible for managing and operating the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, cash management, general ledger, reporting/forecasting – and, last but certainly not least, payroll, making her the fan favorite of Liaison’s employees. This Waco native always knew accounting was her vocational path, proven by her summa cum laude status upon graduating from Baylor University with a dual degree in finance and accounting. She also received her CPA license in 1994. Who needs a calculator when you have Amy nearby?
@life
Amy tossed her graduation hat in the air in 1991, left Waco for Austin and can’t imagine living anywhere else. When Amy isn’t whipping Liaison’s books into shape, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband, two daughters, one son, three dogs, two cats, and a partridge in a pear tree. The biggest animal lover at Liaison, she once ran a cat rescue nonprofit called Amy Beth Kitties. Amy now fosters dogs and cats with Second Chance Mason Animal Rescue, nursing the pets to good health and adopting them out to fill her friends’ and family’s homes with love in the form of four-legged children.

As the Director of Talent Strategy, Scott is driven to pay it forward every day. Early in his career someone gave him a chance, helping him bridge his skills and ambition into an opportunity that was mutually beneficial for his career and the company. This is his daily motivator at Liaison.
He harnesses the power of his training in mechanical engineering and commercial art to herd creative cats on the daily. Scott has a wide range of experience as a metaphorical shepherd, working in a variety of roles including Creative Director in Educational Publishing, consulting with National Geographic School Publishing, and Project Management with Industrial Designers at Dell.
@life
Scott followed his brother from the frigid plains of Minnesota to Austin, and has been here ever since. At home, Scott actually herds two kids and two cats. He volunteers with E4 Youth, an Austin-based organization that connects underserved students in the area to multifaceted creative industries. In his spare time he enjoys road biking, long boarding, and can often be found sketching and dabbling in silk screening.

Kristina joined the Liaison family in 2019 as the Studio Manager. As a certified project manager, she enjoys the fast-paced nature of project-based work, developing relationships with clients, and solving the puzzle of scope, schedule, and budget. In prior roles, Kristina led marketing and public relations efforts for a consulting firm, an arts education organization, and a human services nonprofit. Additionally, she has extensive experience on product marketing teams in a variety of sectors including oil and gas, financial services, insurance, and information technology.
@life
Leaving behind the tropical humidity of the Gulf Coast, Kristina moved to Austin to be near the vibrant arts culture. You can usually find her at the Alamo Drafthouse, Austin Film Society, one of the city’s many live music venues, or volunteering with local nonprofits.

@work
As Director of Strategic Services at Liaison, Michael develops strategies and content to help B2B buyers make confident, regret-free decisions. Over his 30-year career in product marketing and management, he’s worked for and collaborated with NetApp, Dell, NVIDIA, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Intel, VMware, and Microsoft. He joined Liaison with a singular mission to help clients avoid rambling and focus on persuading so their buyers “get it” sooner, faster, and better.
@life
When at home in Austin with his wife and their six daughters, he lives in an alternate reality, trying to be a supportive husband and caregiver to a tribe of girls which necessitates regular journeys into the strange land of braided hair, spiffy outfits, and fear of bugs in the kitchen. For their part, his family has learned to cheerfully tolerate his disruptive carpentry and gardening projects.
