Liaison Creative + Marketing has an opportunity for a Brand and Creative Operations Manager to join a highly collaborative award-winning creative marketing team, a leader in high-performance PC hardware. This role will focus on financial management, budgets, and talent contracts, supporting a worldwide internal creative team. This could be a great fit to leverage your five years of Project/Financial/Business Management experience as part of a globally recognized brand with a close-knit team! The team is based in Austin TX, but we are ready to hire a fully remote employee who can collaborate during central time business hours based only in one of the states in which we do business: FL, MD, MI, MN, NC, OH, TN, TX, VA, UT, and WI.
- Central role managing budgets related to the creative development of marketing campaigns working with internal creatives, advertising agencies, independent contractors, legal, and procurement
- Onboarding new vendors and contractors in partnership with procurement
- Lead the annual business planning and budget process working with budget owners
- Securing and tracking quotes, reserving funds, processing invoices, and day-to-day financial management supporting the teams
- Assist in day-to-day business management maintaining records of talent contracts, usage rights, licenses, releases, and permissions
- Report on budget status to quarterly budgets identifying potential issues and redeployment
How to be a top candidate for this job:
- 4-6 years of financial and business management experience (role is 70% budget/finance related)
- One year working with a marketing firm, in-house creative team, or advertising agency in an Operations Manager role, we need candidates with exposure to the creative development process. - Experience working with teams to create and execute plans to align with goals and business objectives
- Project management experience supporting financial planning and reporting across multi-projects, budgets, and resources in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Experience with purchase orders, processing invoices, and generating talent contracts
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or associated field
Skills:
- Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience with project management tools, such as SmartSheet and Workfront, a plus
