Liaison Creative + Marketing is hiring immediately for a full-time ongoing career opportunity for a Media Planning professional to focus on Global Brand Activation for a leader in PC Hardware as part of our embedded marketing team. As the team's Media Activation Specialist focused on global brand campaigns, you'll work within our high-tech client's Global Brand Team and plays a key role in supporting the team's effort to activate global brand initiatives, programs & campaigns. Reporting directly into the Global Brand Manager, you will be focused on leading the activation and deployment of global campaigns across multiple regions, working in partnership with our global media agency, HQ marketing & regional marketing teams. Ideally, this will be a hybrid-remote/onsite role in Austin TX. However, we can hire someone fully remote if they are based in one of the states in which we operate: TX, TN, OH, VA, NC, MN

  • As Media Activation Specialist, you'll collaborate with the wider Brand + Creative Team located primarily in Austin, TX, but with key stakeholders in Europe, Canada, and Asia
  • Work daily with the Austin-based in-house studio & Germany-based global creative agency of record
  • Fostering relationships with the commercial, consumer & gaming marketing teams
  • Establishing connections with key local market teams around the globe to deploy the roll out of brand initiatives & global campaigns
  • Working with the localization team to ensure successful adaptation of the campaigns for local markets
  • Manage all aspects of the media from briefing to planning & buying on all mediums from traditional, digital, and/or experiential. Quarterly & annual plans
  • Manage the quarterly budget planning process working closely with finance & procurement teams
  • Deliver media recommendations which are backed by quantitative insights from research and data, working with the global media agency, social teams & digital team
  • Ensure media placements align with budget and business objectives, guaranteeing that marketing investments are allocated in ways that create the most value for a brand
  • Ensuring that the development and delivery of global campaigns run smoothly from end to end, liaising closely with the required specialists
  • Manage the campaigns dashboard & regularly present campaign findings & insights
  • Suggesting and implementing methods to increase brand marketing effectiveness and efficiencies
  • Most of the other locations defer to the Austin, TX time, but limited (and predictable) meetings will be required outside of the central US time zone due to the global nature of the role

How to be a top candidate for this job:

  • 3-5 years of experience in preferably with both B2B and B2C technology, either client or agency side that includes media operations, media buying, or media planning with a strong familiarity with the digital and traditional media landscape
  • A proven track record managing multiple projects to define briefs working with cross-functional, global teams
  • Campaign & media planning experience and optimizing performance across digital media channels
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing,  business,  or associated field
  • Ideally, this will be a hybrid-remote/onsite role in Austin TX. However, we can hire someone fully remote if they are based in one of the states in which we operate: TX, TN, OH, VA, NC, MN. Skills:

  • Expertise within media planning (Traditional/Search/Social/Programmatic/Experiential)
  • Strong Computer proficiency in Microsoft 365
  • Some working experience with Excel & PowerPoint, Workfront, Smartsheets, Google Analytics
  • Ability to proactively identify opportunities within the global media landscape and always being interested in identifying innovative solutions to reach target audiences
  • An ability to test and learn new platforms and media opportunities
