Hours/Duration: Full time, ongoing 2 days a week remote

Liaison has an opportunity for a Marketing Program Manager. The primary function of this role is to manage the complete marketing life cycle for new products. The Marketing Program Manager is responsible for engaging key stakeholders to ensure alignment across Worldwide marketing, Business Units, and Segment Marketing while defining the appropriate plan across all phases of the marketing life cycle of a new product. This includes working cross-functionally to define the category of launch, key deliverables, timelines, key stakeholders, communicating launch status updates, and resolving conflicts regarding launch. In this full-time, full-benefits ongoing role, you will be part of a high-functioning global marketing team with inspired leaders and mentors in southwest Austin, Texas

  • Be an active participant and contributor in the improvement of the marketing life cycle process across all teams
  • Become the subject matter expert for the assigned segment
  • Be part of business unit meetings and represent/provide input from the marketing life cycle perspective
  • Understand the overall marketing and business objectives for each product coming to market in the relative segment
  • Help define tactics and rollout plans across each phase of launch timelines and on-time delivery to meet customer timelines
  • Manage the marketing life cycle process aligning on customer readiness, accurate forecast of availability, and knowledge of product transitions in the region
  • Manage the marketing life cycle process ensuring the phases are forecasted, launch readiness, and successful transition between phases
  • Drive communication and process compliance for launch as the main interface for the cross-functional team supporting a product launch, effectively communicating the launch scope, requirements, and timelines
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams outside the core team to ensure alignment on plan of record
  • Leverage common tools such as the launch sequence document and deliverable dashboards to maintain, track, and communicate marketing deliverables and their associated due dates

How to be a top candidate for this job:

  • Degree with at least 4-6 years of relevant experience in marketing and or launch product life cycle program management experience
  • Understanding technical product concepts, particularly in the context of making product/commodity trade-off decisions
  • Strong project management skills and track record of running full project life cycles with global experience preferred
  • Experience managing marketing launches for numerous products and leading cross-functional and global agendas
  • Comfortable with continuously changing opportunities and priorities as well as working in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of PC industrial technologies, future trends, and direction, including PC competitors is a plus
  • Since this position will be onsite in southwest Austin whenever safe (most likely at some point in the late Summer of 2021), we are only considering candidates with immediate local availability. There will be some remote when the employee demonstrates proficiency in the role.   • Strong interpersonal, leadership skills, and communication skills, both written and oral
  • Organized and able to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • A customer-focused drive and personality that builds authentic relationships
  • Program management leadership, strategic agility, drive for results, and ability to exercise independent judgment
  • Microsoft Office with a focus on PowerPoint and Excel
  • Smartsheet experience is a plus
