Localization Producer - Learning Management Systems

Overview: Lead localization projects for a training portal in Simplified Chinese, or Portuguese (Brazil), or Spanish (Latin America).
Location: Remote
Compensation: Based on the requirement of 2-4 years of relevant experience
Hours/Duration: Full-time (roughly 40 hr/wk) ongoing
Liaison Creative+Marketing has a full-time, full benefits, ongoing role as a Localization Producer-Learning Management System. You will have the opportunity to manage the end-to-end process of localizing training content and provide guidance on how translated content will be presented within the online product training tool. You will be part of a growing Worldwide Content and Localization team serving the high-performance computing and graphics technologies market. We are seeking candidates with full fluency in English and at least one other language used in our client's global marketing, with a preference for Simplified Chinese (Greater China), or Portuguese (Brazil), or Spanish (Latin America). This is a remote position. It could be onsite in Austin, TX or remote from these targeted states TX, CA, UT, TN or MN
- Own the localization process for content migrating into a training portal for product processors and technologies
- Collect business and content requirements from internal customers, communicate roadmaps and risks
- Plan and manage localization efforts, working with internal teams and global localization partners to establish workflows, coordinate resources, milestones, and ensure that all deadlines are met
- Collaborate & prioritize with marketing, sales, product, and regions thru the steps of the localization journey providing a quality customer experience globally
- Identify roadblocks and workflow issues driving and reporting solutions to Leadership
- 2-4 years of experience managing localization, translation, transcreation, or cultural consultation projects in a Project Manager or Project Coordinator role (this role is not translating but managing the vendor and driving the LMS experience)
- One year of experience working with a Learning Management System, adult learning, sales tools, or online webinar technology is required
- In addition to English, fluency in another language used in our client's global marketing is required. Preference: Simplified Chinese (Greater China), or Portuguese (Brazil), or Spanish (Latin America)
- Experience working in another country is preferred
- Certification in Localization and/or Instructional Design a plus
