Liaison Creative + Marketing is hiring a Texas-based UI Product Designer to join our team supporting our high tech corporate client to update and improve their sales applications. Our corporate client, based in Round Rock, is a leader in eCommerce and enterprise, consumer, and small-business PC technology and infrastructure. As a member of our team embedded with our client company, you'll focus on UI Product Design while collaborating on the day-to-day UX/UI projects that bring new features and functionality to improve sales applications on their main eCommerce site, one of the leading online stores globally.

  • Build wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs to tackle difficult UX problems
  • Work to discover, understand, and communicate business requirements, the emotional desires of our customers, and the context in which these two come together
  • Working with the Enterprise Sales Application teams, you will distill complex problems and propose clear, efficient, consistent solutions
  • Contribute in strategy and execution on large and small Products by using effective design practices to drive quantifiable business outcomes
  • Actively plan and facilitate experience mapping, research, design workshops and meetings to act on behavioral evidence
  • Eloquently present objective rationale to partners for design decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to help research, brainstorm, and deliver the product experience for some of our most critical simulation and autonomy development products
  • Work with engineering teams to build assets, refine the user experience, and produce high-quality products
  • Work with product managers to define requirements, not just translate them to design
  • Apply empathy-first and a “yes, and...” mindset as a contributor
  • Partner closely with engineers to understand technology capabilities, build your outstanding designs, and achieve high shipped product quality

  • Experience defining problems and objectives through data, research, and understanding of customers, and letting those objectives inform elegant, practical solutions
  • Experience translating insights from user studies into meaningful action
  • While this role is remote for the near term, we are only considering Texas-based candidates, with a strong preference for the Austin-Round Rock Area. If you are applying from outside the state, be sure to include your date-specific unconditional relocation details in the "How does this opportunity fit you?" section of your application
