Overview: Build and execute paid Social Media Marketing strategy for a leader in Server tech and key corporate partnerships

Location: Remote for now, eventually Southwest Austin

Compensation: Based on the requirement of 5-7 years of relevant experience

Hours/Duration: Full-time (roughly 40 hr/wk) ongoing

Liaison Creative + Marketing has a career opportunity for a Social Media Marketing professional with Paid media and Enterprise tech experience, paid social experience, and an interest in content and partner marketing. You'll join our high-tech client's global marketing team located in Southwest Austin, Texas which is of course all remote for the near term. As a critical member of our growing team of social media marketing professionals embedded within our corporate client's marketing organization, you will be involved in driving paid social strategy for server and data center product lines and the relevant partnerships with leading enterprise tech firms. This includes maintaining and expanding content campaigns across LinkedIn, Twitter, and other emerging and existing online communities. In collaboration with the social team, product teams, and external agencies, you'll play a key role in positioning the existing team of dynamic professionals for even more long-term success.

  • Collaborate with internal product, social teams, and partner marketing stakeholders to drive Social Media Content strategies that enhance brand positioning, focused on optimizing paid SMM
  • Report and present venues and networks for optimizing SMM engagement with target audiences (CTOs, IT professionals, Partner firms, etc)
  • In collaboration with external agency, execute SMM initiatives with hands-on audience engagement
  • Own and evangelize Server product lines, and their competitive benefits to enterprise goals
  • Other social media engagement activities and product lines may become part of the mix, but the primary need is for the server product lines and their various partnerships

How to be a top candidate for this job:

  • Your resume shows 5-7 years of experience in a marketing role with significant social media marketing component within a high tech corporate setting
  • Paid social, content marketing, and product marketing a plus
  • Server or Datacenter experience a huge plus
  • Demonstrated ability to market to partners, CTO's, and IT professionals
  • Experience in developing written reports to key stakeholders, company leadership, or executive management
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Marketing, Public Relations or Communications
  • This role will be remote for the time being due to COVID, but eventually, the team will be back onsite in SW Austin, so If you are applying from outside of central Texas, be sure to include your date specific unconditional relocation details as the first line of the "How does this opportunity fit you?" section of the application

Skills:

  • Khoros (former Spredfast) a plus, or something similar like Sprout, Falcon IO, Hootsuite, or Hubspot
  • Expertise in enterprise hardware marketing, preferably servers or data centers
  • Ability to collaborate closely with SMM, Corporate Partner Marketing, and Content Marketing teams
