Liaison Creative + Marketing has an ongoing full-time, full benefits opportunity for a Financial Analyst to join our team with our Fortune 500 computer hardware client, a leader in Consumer PC components. As a critical team member collaborating with World Wide Marketing, you will be part of the Marketing Operations team focused on Marketing related budgets, tracking, and process automation with domestic and global teams.   • Be part of a growing team with highly collaborative colleagues and exceptional department and company leadership
  • Create and drive Marketing's budgeting and funding process optimizing and automating
  • Opportunity to interact with P/L owners, GM's, finance/HR/Ops, external agencies, and sales/marketing leaders worldwide
  • Support a highly functioning/collaborative team while ensuring budget accuracy, managing/creating metrics, and directing spending
  • Determine SOX compliance for Marketing Development Funds on claims and proof of performance/costs
  • Manage Purchase Order creation, tracking, and support with counterparts in Malaysia
  • Own the Monthly/Quarterly close process for marketing spend
  • Determine ways to automate reporting working with highly skilled Excel experts on the team
  • Support the quarterly funding plan across business units, create dashboards, report out to the BU's and the CMO
  • Use your excellent Excel skills to articulate budget, ongoing spend, and variances

How to be a top candidate for this job:

  • 5-7 years of experience with increasing levels of responsibility; of exposure to operations, planning, and finance
  • Prior exposure to cross-functional and global teams
  • Experience with ownership of marketing budgets or agency spend in a role as a Financial Analyst
  • Roles leading forecasting, ROI's, BvA, and monthly/quarterly reporting
  • Bachelor's degree (finance, marketing or technical background is preferred)

Skills:

  • Mastery of MS Excel
  • MS Office with a focus on PowerPoint
  • Power BI skills a plus
  • Ability to drive consensus and change with a personality that thrives on collaboration and teamwork
  • You live in detail and can easily present to the C -suite
  • Meticulous attention to detail and quality is part of your DNA
  • Healthy curiosity and interest in PC technology
