Overview: Collaborate with a creative marketing UX team to build out a web application to help sell enterprise storage solutions

Location: work from your Austin-area home office

Compensation: $60/hr

Hours/Duration: Full-time schedule, 6 months

Liaison Creative + Marketing is hiring a UX Product Designer to join our team supporting our high tech corporate client, a leader in Enterprise Technology solutions. As a member of our team embedded with our client company, you will be assisting in the design and build-out of a web application centered around enterprise storage solutions for the internal sales reps. In this fast-paced, Agile environment you will be supporting a global rollout of a high visibility project that will be responsible for the user experience of a major tool for the Seller Experience organization. Current team is 15 people including Principal Designers; Sr. Product Designers; Product Designers; UX Researchers. Project timeline and assignment duration is set for 6 months, not likely to extend significantly.

  • Lead the design process from problem discovery, framing, ideation, iterative development, delivery, and maintenance
  • Guide and validate design decisions with user research methods and existing data
  • Learn and balance user and business goals to achieve desirable, viable, and feasible solutions
  • User research, interaction design, visual design, and content artifacts that communicate design decisions for the user experience and user interface
  • Partner and collaborate effectively with researchers, engineers, designers, product owners, and business stakeholders on all initiatives
  • Own the design decisions and approach in a cross-functional team developing the defined product. Independently discovering customer value and business opportunities of undefined problem spaces
  • Determine and crafting standard design artifacts (user flows, wireframes, comps, prototypes) that efficiently and effectively communicate intent of design decisions and can support other designers
  • Determine the process for applying lean methods to eliminate waste and manage risk
  • Use design iterations to maximize opportunities for feedback in their work and improve collaboration in a cross-functional team
  • Use divergent and convergent thinking methods to explore and prioritize a range of problems and solutions within a cross-functional team
  • Deliver effective written and verbal presentation to their team so that they absorb and understand their points Take a user-centered approach to design process and methods Be responsible for user research, interaction design, visual design, and content artifacts that communicate design decisions for the user experience and user interface

How to be a top candidate for this job:

  • 4-8 years of related experience
  • Enterprise level experience preferred
  • Experience working with complex applications
  • A web-based portfolio (no attachments or downloads please)
  • Experience with a user-centered approach to design process and methods
  • While this role is likely to be remote for the near term, we are only considering local Round Rock and Austin area candidates.   • Solid UX Design skills in a hands-on role
  • Windows fluency, Figma software a plus
  • able to test prototypes
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate in large diverse teams (PMs, developers, architects, engineers, etc.)
