Location: North Austin

Compensation: Based on 1-3 years of coordinator-level experience.

Hours/Duration: Full-time business hours, ongoing duration

Liaison has an immediate opportunity for Marketing Events Coordinator to support trade show activities for Fortune 100 technology client onsite in north Austin. In this key role embedded within the client's marketing team, you'll collaborate with a close-knit corporate team on a range of tactical support tasks for Tier 1 National Tradeshows, Tier 2 National Tradeshows and Large Channel shows as well as onsite customer trainings for our client's B2B-focused technology products team. This is a good fit for someone with a passion for technology who is seeking to leverage 1-3 years in corporate events at a coordinator level.

  • Coordinate with show leaders (Marketing Communications, Channel manager or Regional Sales Manager)
  • Handle show contracts and booth type, layout and logistics
  • Conduct onsite customer trainings
  • Handle tradeshow payments, maintain records and reviews final invoices and provides to Marketing Communications
  • Work with tradeshow management to book/block hotels, meeting rooms, hospitality suites etc
  • Arrange food and beverage as required for meetings and hospitality functions
  • Serve as main Contact with the exhibit house concerning exhibit designs, services, and requirements for all shows, approve all show proposals and communicate the costs/details to the business
  • Handles participant registration
  • Work with the show lead to gather all product, literature, booth graphics, etc. and coordinate shipment to the show
  • Coordinate updates to the show directory listings
  • Obtain show mailing or Email lists for show promotions
  • Enter leads into Salesforce and Eloqua
  • Unpack products and tradeshow assets after the show
  • Review trade show requests from sales reps/ channel manager
  • Coordinate with EMD regional show requestor (EMD Sales Rep or Channel manager)
  • Handle show contracts
  • Handle all tradeshow payments, maintain records and reviews final invoices and provides to Marketing Communications
  • Determines what trade show materials are needed and available for the show
  • Work with the regional show requestor to gather all product, literature, booth graphics, etc. and coordinate shipment to the show
  • When existing inventory is in disrepair he/she handles ordering replacements
  • Assists with other catering orders, assembling gift baskets, printing badges, diplomas, shirt packets, etc

How to be a top candidate for this job:

  • Be sure your resume shows your 1-3 years experience in a corporate events-focused role at a coordinator level
  • Technology marketing background a plus
