PRIVACY POLICY

The nitty gritty details

Liaison is committed to protecting the privacy of the individuals who visit our Website. Liaison’s Website is intended to 1) provide information about Liaison and our services, 2) provide information about specific employment opportunities with Liaison, and 3) collect information about candidates who wish to apply for those employment opportunities.

What personally identifiable information is collected on Liaison’s Site?

Liaison collects certain personally identifiable information about each candidate who applies for an open position including name, mailing address, email address, contact phone number, and additional information about the candidate’s suitability for the position.

Additional information is also collected in an aggregate form by our Website hosting service and is used solely in connection with improving the performance and responsiveness of our site. This information includes a User’s originating domain, time of visit, domain names, and Internet service provider. This information is not personally identifiable information and Liaison makes no effort to correlate such information to an individual candidate who visits our site.

How is the information collected and maintained?

All personally identifiable information collected by Liaison is provided directly by the candidate during the job application process and is stored along with the candidate’s resume and work samples (if provided) on Liaison’s internal secured server located in Austin, Texas. This information is backed up nightly for disaster recovery purposes.

Can candidates opt out?

We encourage all candidates to apply for open positions posted on our Website by completing the online Candidate Information Form. Candidates who prefer not to share their individual information via our Website may opt to apply for the position by faxing the information to Liaison at 512-323-2319. In such cases, we encourage the candidate to call us at 512-323-0550 to confirm our receipt of their fax.

Will Liaison use personally identifiable information to contact Candidates?

Yes. Liaison will use the information entered on the Candidate Information Form to contact candidates about their interest in the specific position they applied for. From time to time, Liaison may use the information to contact the candidate about other Liaison opportunities. Likewise, Liaison may on occasion contact candidates via email to ask them to participate voluntarily in a quality control survey. Candidates who do not wish to participate may ignore the email, or reply requesting that they be removed from our list.

Does Liaison share or transfer this information?

In the course of reviewing candidates with our clients, Liaison may share personally identifiable information with those clients as necessary to relay a complete and accurate picture of a candidate’s suitability for a position. However, Liaison will not ever transfer, share, or sell personally identifiable information to third parties for the purpose of contacting or marketing to our candidates. Third parties are defined here as entities not related to Liaison or our Website.

Liaison may occasionally use a third-party email list service such as Constant Contact to distribute an electronic newsletter or job announcements to candidates. Each such email broadcast shall include an easy unsubscribe feature.

Liaison will share personally identifiable information to law enforcement agencies or other governmental agencies when required to do so or when Liaison in good faith believes it is necessary in order to comply with legal obligations. In addition, in the event that Liaison is acquired or merged into another entity, personally identifiable information may be transferred to the successor in interest.
